NO OTHER CHANGES TO THE SOLICITATION.****This Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Chicago District to inform interested vendors of the district?s intent to issue a solicitation for Salamonie Lake?s Control Tower Windows and Doors Replacement.****PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the requirement, USACE requires the following construction services at the Lake Salamonie?s Control Tower: removal and replacement of five (5) exterior windows and one (1) set of two (2) exterior entry doors. For the windows, the work includes measuring openings, removing existing windows and framing, applying concrete sealer, installing new double-hung windows with specific performance and material requirements (including synthetic jambs and stainless-steel fasteners), and flashing to prevent water intrusion. The door replacement entails similar steps ? measuring, removal, concrete repair and sealing, and installation of paired steel security doors with new locking mechanisms and adherence to forced-entry resistance standards (UFC 4-026-01).
