FedQuery is operated by ChartRow LLC. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Server logs. Like nearly all websites, our servers log requests (IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps) for security, debugging, and aggregate traffic analysis. Logs are retained for a limited period and are not sold.

Local preferences. Your theme choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage and never leaves your device.

Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal information.

About the contracting data

Names, addresses, and contact details that appear in search results (contracting officers, company points of contact, awardees) come from public U.S. Government procurement records published on SAM.gov and USAspending.gov. We display these public records as published. To correct or remove information at the source, contact the relevant government system; corrections there flow into FedQuery with our next data refresh.

Accounts and email

If we introduce accounts, saved searches, or email alerts, we will collect the minimum needed to provide them (e.g., your email address) and update this policy accordingly. We will not sell your email or subscribe you to anything you didn’t ask for.
