Intent to Sole Source: Aerostar Tri-layer Coveralls

The 910th Contracting Flight, Youngstown ARS, OH intends to award a sole source purchase order to Aerostar International LLC. This procurement will be for Tri Layer Coveralls that are required by Air Force regulation for all Fuel Handlers. The directive comes specifically from Air Force Technical Order 1-1-3.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services Procedures under RFO Part 12 and as authorized by RFO 6.103-1: Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered a competitive requirement. The anticipated award date is prior to 30 September 2026.
