Sole Source Justification for Maritime Security Risk Analysis Model (MSRAM) Data Analysis and Risk Mapping Support Services

The award is a sole-source, logical follow-on task order issued under FAR 8.401(b), FAR Class Deviation 25-20 R1 for FAR Part 8, GSAR 538.7104-3(b)(iii), and HSAM 3008.401-71(a). In the interest of economy and efficiency, it is a logical follow-on to a Federal Supply Schedule order previously issued on a competitive basis. The order is necessary to ensure continuity of Maritime Security Risk Analysis Model database support services while the competitive follow-on BPA and task order are completed. Award to ABSG Consulting, Inc. avoids transition risk, prevents disruption to critical support services, and maintains continuity of ongoing maritime security risk analysis operations.
