Amendment 001- Deleted the Canteen requirement.

PROVIDE: Professional cleaning services of Hoods and Ducts at the VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19805.

GENERAL: The Wilmington, Delaware VA Medical Center requires a service contract to perform hood/duct cleaning of listed cooking equipment exhaust systems.

SPECIFICS: The contractor shall furnish all materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to clean listed cooking exhaust systems to NFPA 96, Chapter I standards (procedures for use and maintenance of equipment: 6 Ft. Up- Draft grill stand in canteen, approx. 75 Ft of exhaust duct and centrifugal exhaust fan, mounted on roof of the ICU (vert. duct and exhaust fan). 16 Ft. wall mounted canopy hood in canteen approx. 20 Ft. of exhaust duct and general-purpose centrifugal exhaust fan, mounted on roof above canteen. 16 Ft. island canopy hood. Inspect and clean canopy hood and auto wash system in dietetics and clean the roof mounted exhaust fan.

Service: Dietetics machine, RM 1120; Dietic dish machine exhaust ducts, grills, hoods and roof mounted exhaust fan Clean two (2) canopy grill hood 8’ duct and exhaust fan for the community living center (CLC) AFFIX Certification of each hood and system cleaned Cover all exposed kitchen and floor areas. Clean up dust and debris caused by cleaners and spray.
