The agency has determined that the required equipment possesses unique technical capabilities, including proprietary imaging components, compatibility with existing inspection systems, and specialized durability features necessary for confined?space and submerged operations. DBA: Green Equipment, Co. is the only known source capable of providing the specific camera system that meets all agency requirements without modification and that accepts a trade-in of the existing Government equipment. Alternative products lack one or more essential attributes such as image resolution standards, integrated sensor compatibility, ruggedization requirements, or system?specific interface capabilities needed for continuity of operations. Based on this information, the Government intends to award this action under the authority of FAR 6.302?1, as applicable, because only one responsible source is capable of meeting the agency’s needs in the required timeframe. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties who believe they can meet the Government’s requirements may submit a capability statement demonstrating technical expertise, product equivalency, and the ability to deliver all required specifications.
